| Five
years ago when Mary came to me and said, "Geronimo, it would be a
crime to take all that knowledge to the grave with you!", the seed
of the American Blacksmith School was planted.
My first
class in 1996 consisted of 6 local men. I learned as much from them
about teaching as they did from me about blacksmithing. I never dreamed
that within a few short years I would have both men and women students
coming from all parts of the USA and Canada.
To all of
you enthusiastic seekers of knowledge I say THANK YOU for helping me
keep alive the pride and traditions of a pre-industrial age craft—blacksmithing!
Remember
that I am here to help you learn blacksmithing basics and beyond.
