At the 2000 Fall Conference, "Damascus Bill" Fiorini proved to be thorough in explaining and demonstrating every phase of the process of making a Damascus blade. He is truly a blade master.

Bill also presented a slide program showing Japanese sword making which left Geronimo feeling grateful to be in the United States where he has the right to choose his work and material is readily available.

Darryl Nelson pauses for a question from the audience during his demonstration on making a bear's head incorporated into a coat rack at the NWBA's 2000 Fall Conference at Smoke Farm, Arlington, Washington. His was a most enjoyable and informative demonstration.

The N.W.B.A. Spring Conference will be on May 18-20, 2001, at Sisters, Oregon. Demonstrators will be E.A. Chase from California and Joe Elliott.

Details will be posted on this page as they are available. You won't want to miss this conference!

The Hands-On Workshops were fantastic at Smoke Farm. The gas forges provided proved to be excellent work stations.

Midnight Madness was awe-inspiring. Berkley Tack once again generously shared his forge, coal, flux, knowledge and skills. May there always be a Berkley Tack!
